Two more people have been arrested related to a theft at London's Heathrow Airport in which over twenty individuals were injured by what is thought to be an irritant spray, according to law enforcement.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in the Lambeth area for suspected robbery and assault and a 23-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals are still being held, the force said.

The arrests follow an investigation into an assault at the multi-level parking garage at Terminal 3 on Sunday. Before the incident, a pair of female travelers were robbed of their suitcases upon exiting a parking garage elevator.

A toddler aged three was among the those hurt during the incident. A total of five individuals went to hospital for medical care and have since been discharged.

Police arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of robbery and assault close to the location. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Authorities were called at approximately 08:10 GMT following reports of several people injured by an irritating chemical thought to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which authorities stated was isolated and not considered an act of terror - caused train delays and the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the T3 parking facility for a short time.
